Everyday spills like turmeric, beetroot, red wine, and lemon juice can be wiped away with warm water and mild soap. For dried-on spills, a non-abrasive cream cleanser (such as Astonish or Cif cream with a soft microfibre cloth) safely removes residue without scratching.

Both thicknesses offer identical scratch and stain resilience. 20mm is the contemporary choice, frequently preferred for modern German handleless kitchens, compact spaces, and floating island aesthetics. 30mm is the traditional standard, favored in classic Shaker kitchens for its heavy, substantial presence. 20mm is slightly lighter and costs approximately 10–15% less in material.

Once your kitchen base cabinets are fully fixed, level, and your sink/hob are on site, digital laser templating takes 1–2 hours. Your custom worktop is fabricated in our London workshop and installed within 7–10 working days. Installation typically takes 2–4 hours, after which the silicone requires 24 hours to cure before final plumbing connections.
